Installation of an exterior laundry shed, providing enclosed space for a washer and dryer outside the main house. The work covered preparing and levelling the base, assembling and setting the structure, and anchoring it down. Because the building houses appliances, the service connections matter as much as the shell: the unit needs a supply, a drain and a properly protected electrical circuit, and it needs to shed water away from all three. We sealed the structure against weather and confirmed drainage falls away from the building rather than back toward the house. Moving laundry out of the main house frees up interior square footage, which in Los Angeles is worth considerably more than the cost of the shed.
