A full bedroom renovation covering surfaces, storage and lighting. The scope included repairing and skim-coating the walls and ceiling, installing new trim, updating the lighting and switches, and refinishing the room throughout. Where a bedroom has taken years of furniture knocks and picture hooks, patching alone leaves a patchy sheen, so the walls were skimmed and primed as a whole before painting. Bedrooms are usually the last rooms in a house to get attention and the easiest to bring up to standard quickly, since there is rarely plumbing involved. Most of the work is surface preparation, carpentry and lighting, which means a single crew can complete a room without long waits between trades. We can work room by room around an occupied house, and protect flooring and remaining furniture for the duration.
